Megan Livesey
Megan Livesey started Pure Direction with the purpose of
facilitating life and business transitions as well as professional
and organizational development.
Her expertise is drawn from ten years in sales and management in
the fast paced, dynamic, and competitive healthcare industry. She
has worked for two Fortune 500 health benefits companies as well as
the nation’s largest home healthcare firm; she understands the
demands of corporate employment and what it takes, on many levels,
to be successful.
Megan has worked with individuals at all levels within
organizations, as well as entrepreneurs and career seekers. She
believes that coaching can create powerful leaders, cohesive teams
and a sense of personal empowerment. Her passion for personal and
organizational development comes from baring witness to several
corporate, team and individual transformations that resulted in
meaningful work, enriched purpose and increased results.
Megan believes that one of her most valuable life lessons came
from fourteen years as a competitive swimmer. Lessons like
determination, perseverance, resilience, spirited competition and
solid commitment to self and to team. This experience of leadership,
teamwork, and the power of intention is applicable to all aspects of
our lives.
Megan received her Coaching Certification from John F. Kennedy
University. She is currently a candidate for a Masters Degree in
Organizational Psychology, also from John F. Kennedy University. Her
Bachelors Degree in Political Science is from San Diego State
University.
